Karmam (Duty)

Swami Chintalayesan always emphasis the importance of one’s duty in this world. He says Karmam (Duty) is God. He set an example in his early life itself, by making iron products especially knifes in his Ala (The blacksmith’s workshop). The money that he earned was used to feed others and visitors. He was happy to help others with what he earned. He had even worked physical works also to show the world that serving god is doing one’s duty.

He used to give advice to his visitors to leave early and do the duty. ‘Concentrate in your office, that is karmam, that itself is god’, many professionals and employees who visited Bhagavan got this advice if they spend too much time at ashram. He always say that the proper execution of one’s responsibility is the proper way of worshiping god.

“ I don’t know to receive, I only know to give: Afterall what is give and take?”
